Rakow Center Adult Activity Center — Dundee Township Park District

Carpentersville, Kane County

Verified July 15, 2026

Dundee Township Park District runs Pickleball Lessons at the Rakow Center building itself (and at Randall Oaks Rec Center), but it isn't listed among the Rakow Center's dedicated 50+ program roster and no age restriction was confirmed either way. It also runs Water Fitness (dtpd.org/water-fitness), "12 years & Older," including an "Active Aging" class for core strengthening/balance/cardio -- senior resident pricing exists, but the class itself isn't age-restricted.

Rakow Center's Adult 50+ hub mixes standing drop-in time with a real calendar of named outings — recent examples include a Pancake Breakfast & Bingo morning, a 'Dave & Daphne Live from Nashville' show, a Mean Girls theater trip with lunch, a Hayride and Bonfire, and a guided walking tour of Chicago's Pullman neighborhood — plus arts and crafts and monthly parties. The companion Adult 50+ Softball league plays Monday mornings at Randall Oaks Recreation Center, May through October.
