Wilmette Public Library delivers books and audiobooks to homebound patrons, and keeps a large-print collection plus a full slate of assistive technology on hand — a ScanEZ magnification/reading station, a hearing loop system in the auditorium, and loanable wheelchairs and walkers at the entrance. Through the Library of Things, you can also borrow handheld magnifiers and light-therapy lamps for two weeks at a time, and the library can connect you to the free statewide Illinois Talking Book Program.
